Scholarships

Wainwright Credit Union awards three annual scholarships of $1000 each. One is for applicants enrolled in post secondary programs of two years or fewer. The second is for applicants enrolled in post secondary programs of more than two years. Relatives of Wainwright Credit Union employees and of Board of Directors are eligible for the third scholarship, for a post secondary program of any length.

Eligibility

The competition is currently open to Wainwright Credit Union Ltd.’s members or children of members.

  • The applicant must be enrolled in a full time post-secondary program.
  • The applicant has not received this scholarship before.
  • The applicant must be under the age of 26.

Selection

The Board of Directors annually appoints a selection committee composed of a director, a staff member and a community member.

Applications will be accepted from November 10, 2008 to no later than January 5, 2009.
