Telephone Banking Enhanced Services

With our new telephone banking system, you continue to have all of the features you currently enjoy. Changes to current features include:

  • You are still able to make inquiries on all your accounts, including lines of credit.
  • You are still able to obtain balances on your registered products (RRSP, RIF) and term deposits.

New phone numbers

  • For toll-free access within North America: 1-877-842-6858
  • Outside of North America: (long distance charges apply) 1-780-842-6858

Telephone banking - all the features you never had but have now

  • You are now able to transfer funds into and out of foreign fund accounts within the same currency. (e.g. US savings to US chequing)
  • You are now able to transfer funds from any of your deposit accounts directly into your Variable Rate RRSP accounts.
  • Your call can now be transferred from the automated system to a Wainwright Credit Union staff member during regular business hours.
  • You are now able to request a faxed copy of your statement. This gives you immediate access to a printed version of your account activity.
  • With the new “totalling” feature, you are now able to obtain the sum of your RRSP, RIF and term deposit investments.
